Some Establishments Achieved by Nan Chul Shin

Airports Division of the Hawaii Department of Transportation, 2015 Nan Inc. was granted a $327 million contract to build a new consolidated car rental facility and renovate existing roadways at Maui’s Kahului Airport. The project also includes the installation of solar photovoltaic panels, the construction of a people mover to connect the airport terminal to the new rental car facility, as well as other infrastructure and site renovations and connections to pre existing roads.

Utility infrastructure relocation by the year 2023

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation awarded a contract to Nan Inc. to move Dillingham Boulevard’s utility infrastructure.

HART officials, in a press release, emphasized the importance of the utilities along the corridor to the completion of the passenger-rail project. The duration of the agreement, which begins in the first quarter of 2023 and continues through the first quarter of 2026 and has a total value of nearly $500 million, is subject to change.

To satisfy the terms of the contract, it will be necessary to relocate any existing underground or overhead utilities along the rail alignment that may interfere with the rail guideway and column placement. In a press release, HART said that in addition to infrastructure improvements in the areas of electricity, fuel, communications, storm drainage, and roadways, the project also includes improvements to water and sewage systems.

West Oahu Veterans Residence 2020

Nan Inc., founded by Patrick Shin, has been granted a $75.5 million contract to build a 120-bed veterans home in Kapolei. The company hopes to create two two-story residential complexes and one two-story skilled nursing facility/community building during the next two years.

The new Hawaii State Veterans Home will be built on the island of Oahu, and this contract will facilitate that endeavor. There will also be a paved parking area and the installation of interior furnishings and fittings.

According to Nan, Inc., the largest privately owned construction enterprise in Hawaii, the structure will help satisfy the expanding demand for housing and care for the state’s veterans.
